Christmas is right around the corner and some of us have been so busy gift shopping for everyone else that we may have somehow forgotten about ourselves! Still not sure what to wear during this year’s festivities? Well fear not. I have identified some seriously stylish pieces to inspire your festive fashion wardrobe:
There’s no place like home especially in your very own pair of SJP inspired red pumps – tap your heels together and you may even be dancing the night away somewhere exotic, either way this is the timeless pair of shoes you will come back to every festive season. The back strap style of shoe, together with the diamante embellishment gives off major Lady Diana vibes – and ladies you too deserve to feel like a Princess.
Casis Red Back Strap Stilettos by Dune London – available here or at the new Dune London store at Phoenix Mall
Make an entrance with a statement necklace! This mirrored statement piece is the perfect ‘emergency’ accessory if you’re struggling to get that ‘fancy’ dress or top in time – this necklace will easily jazz up something simple from your everyday wardrobe – no one will ever know!
Stylish arm candy is just the treat to elevate any festive look – adorned with shimmering sequins and emerald coloured beads this art deco style clutch bag is so on point for the party season. P.S AZA currently has 20% off so use the code: CHEER20 to make this purchase even more sweeter.
I’m always in favour of comfort paired with style, especially when it’s done well and involves metallic! The plisse texture and gold tones of this co-ord set is perfect for a chic sit down Christmas dinner or disco dancing on New Year’s Eve – either way, this outfit will have you serving the Turkey or ringing in 2022 in great style for sure!
Rose Brown and Gold Carina Metallic Set – available here
To say I am obsessed with this jewellery brand is an understatement, however, the word ‘understatement’ and these earrings should not fit into the same sentence so I’ll just stay here and literally lust over these beauties for a while. A bit of bling is always a good idea during the festive season and fashion influencers worldwide are telling us we need these in our lives so clearly we need to listen – it would be rude not to.
Use the code: LOVE10 for 10% off your first order with Amama.
The Vine Tip: If you’re worried about ‘the pain’ of wearing heavy earrings for more than 5 minutes, then head over to your nearest pharmacy and you should be able to pick up a tube of numbing cream, rub a good amount on your ear lobes 30 minutes before leaving the house and voila you wont feel a thing for a least a few hours!
If you’re lucky enough to have been invited to a more elegant affair, my suggestion would be to opt for something long and don’t be afraid to show some skin – this dress certainly ticks those boxes. If you want to be a little more conservative then you can always throw on a black tux style jacket – fitted in at the waist and shoulder-padded (I’m imagining Balmain right now).
The bold colour but subtle print means that you won’t be going out looking like a ‘tacky Christmas craft’ (phew!) – on the other hand, if your festive celebration is a casual one then this dress can be easily styled with flat sandals and a sun hat for a more ‘beachy’ vibe.
